this beach us usually totally shit, but it's worth to check. 19 out of 20 times, you go out to keep your selfe fit for the once in a while sessions there. And if you score one of these sessions, you gonna check it everytime and you'll know why.

Seek and ye shall find
Theres's more to Monte Clerigo than meets the eye... this summer i surfed by myself with my fishy on a neat little right hand reef that threw up the occasional barrel, depending on the direction the set came in. About 70m to my right were four or five bodyboards surfing another nice little reef, this time a left, a little longer than the wave i was surfing... once again, seek and ye shall find!!

rips
some nice reef set ups to the left and bigger sets coming through out on the far right. Powerful, punchy beachie but watch the rips. When we were there, poor old sven miguel got dragged right - over to the rocks on the inside before getting out and calling it a day. The rip can also drag you out and to the right so keep an eye out and you'll be fine.Locals don't get up early
