Vilamoura - Hi
I have the opportunity to stay at Vilamoura, east of Albufeira later this month. Could anybody tell me are there any surf spots ANYWHERE near this?! Even small waves would be fine, I'm a beginner.

Albufeira - Hey, I´m coming to Albufeira on 22.5. Is there anyone who could rent me a board and maybe give me some lessons in the south coast area. I´ll be there for 1 week.

sagres a better place to surf - sagres, in algarve too, is a great place for you to learn how to surf and to have a perfect vacations... there are waves all year there. albufeira, forget it! this is not the best place for you to learn (or) surf. portugal have a lot of beutiful waves and beachs... search them!

could I surf? - I wanted to go to Albufeira in the summerholidays with a friend of mine. The point really was that we could learn how to surf, but after reading your site I am not so sure if that is even possible and if it is whether it would be any fun. So here is my question, would you recommend it and do you happen to know if there is a surfingschool in the area?
