Paul do Mar - I'm going to Paul do Mar in November for a few weeks - hopefully get some waves there and in Jardim. has the building completey destroyed them? Where else should I go?

Bye Bye Jardim do mar - They are building a ocean road that are destroing Jardim do mar and Paul do mar the waves are backwashing , still not finished yet . The spots on the north coast still the same.

What's happening with the waves? - Can someone please tell me what's happening in Madeira at the moment. I read on www.savethewaves.org that many of the best spots are being ruined by road construction?
Is this true? If so isn't there ANY way to build a road without interfering with the shoreline and destroying the way the waves break?
Are protests too late?

Informacao surf breaks - Viva!

Gostaria de obter alguma informacao sobre os surf spots Madeirenses.
Comecei a practicar surf só há 2 anos, por isso nao tenho grande interesse em Big Wave surfing. Existe algum spot com condicoes razoáveis na próxima semana?

Onde posso encontrar algum clube de surf para obter estas informacoes?

reply to Chris - Hy there Chris, i advise you to bring you're own board. We don't have surfboard rental's around here, unfornatly we barely have surfshop's.

Board Rental in Madeira - Hello. I will be in Funchal for 10 days, then I want to get the surfing expierence of Madeira. I was wondering if it is possible to rent a shortboard in Funchal or in Jamir do mar. I need a surf baord, and just want to kow if I should bring my own, or rent one there. -Chris
