Smaller days? I have seen Fennels bay on a medium sized SW swell (~10 sec, 4ft) at close to low tide and it looks like there is still a small surfable (2-3ft?) wave breaking close to the rocks. Has anyone surfed it in these conditions? I don't expect hollow tubes, but is it ridable? Does it break too shallow?

FAO Reefer 1. This wave breaks about a dozen times a year so you do NOT surf it every day after school. It works on a serious high period southerly (sometimes easterly swell)swell with west north-west winds only.2. The wave is not heavy, its probably the easiest reef to surf in the area and one of the better ones to surf if its your first time surfing over rcks.
