Additional Surfing Infos
Beware bathers in summmer. Strong currents. Deceptively strong waves. Difficult to predict break, stick to one spot left or right (depending on preference) and wait for peak. Fast up needed, can be dumpy.

localism
didn't know this sort of crap went on here. Just mind your manners if you're surfing in someone else's hood. All times I've been here, locals have been cool. Is there any surf in Tralee? Is the last guy for real?

Summer in Coumeenole
As the beach is quite short, especially when the tide is coming in. 100 - 150 metres it can get especially crowded with bathers. On these days it is impossible to surf safely and is really more suited towards bodyboarding.
