easky locals
geeez re. the localism at easky-i lived in west ireland and chances are i know the dudes that ran you outta da water. fair enough too if you come from places like, france, aussie, SA etc where you compete like bastards for a wave- just settle it back a gear and you'll be fine. 1. the irish locals deserve all the waves they can get because the water is so cold most the year-while the rest of us grovel for hours in balmy conditions-they pick their days, get into their wetties in the shower (feb)..so RESPECT.2. there are plenty of irish good surfers out at any given time, so watch piling out of vans and into the lineup and packing it outre easky's consistancy- the left & the right are consistant in the colder months startin in oct. feb for the brave and well neoprened... plenty of other breaks near by too...the right doesn't tend to get the goat boat traffic that the left gets, is a bit faster, and the sections are well makeable. If you can't make the sections then you didn't get it on.i've have loads of wicked days at the right (4-8ft), it can be windy as, but on the clam grey days it's awesome.z&s you know who wrote this: BRING ON THE HENHOUSE
