When the re are strong Northern winds, drive from Athens north-west towards Halkida on Evia island(conected with Attika by bridge, then in Halkida you will find a 'fork' that goes left for North Evia and right for South Evia. You go left. Take a right at Neo Artaki Village towards the Dirfis Mountains. Cross the mountains(very likely you will find snow on top)and on the way down head for Hiliadou or Metohi beaches.

Longing for winter
Autumn, winter and spring are the best seasons to surf in Greece.Summer, however, tends to have its good days for Tinos, Naxos, Crete and Evoia.
