The winter time brings more storms. Usually you'll be looking for somewhere protected from the wind as the big storms bring big waves and huge winds. Just drive the coast and you will find many spots. Hania has some spots aswell as the coast between rethymnon and iraklion.

Surf in Crete
My famiily and i have been to north Crete every summer for the last 30 years. Rarely i have seen surf there. But can anyone tell me if it is better in the wintertime? and whats the most consistent place?

what do the two have to do with eachother? take your propaganda back to america and stay away from precious crete. Your only going to wreck it. Everyone is welcome in Crete so stop claming it, join the us army if u want to conquer. Your barely even a greek. Surf and Crete are freedom. Not anything that your bogus manifesto says. So for every surfer out there. You are welcome in Crete without calling the one man cst. and maybe we'll see you on a wave the one day a year it breaks.
