It`s necessary to take a ferry from Norddeich. The passage takes 45-60 min and costs 14€ for a returnticket. Don`t pay for a Shortboard for a longo you have to buy a 5€ bike-ticket.On the island it takes a walk of 25min to get to Januskopf or you can go by bus.

surfed nordeney last year in summer... it was soooo great! never seen such strong and high-frequent waves. compared to portugal/peniche its quiet better... but ok. if people like to believ, that german spots are not that good, i dont care. i even prefer less crowded spots...

In spring and autumn we have many days like this. Norderney is the best german spot. I lived near sylt. And only had few groundswell days. Now I live near Norderney. And we have many groundswell days, because it is very open for magic nothswells. Come and see!
