beware of angry locals been there frequently. try not to wildcamp or spend the night obviously in you car right in front of the dune. there definetly are a couple of angry local kids hanging around. super dangerous is when you sport a german license plate. even cops broke into my car, took out a couple a things and threw it in the trash. besides all that the wave is da bomb if you can handle it. super nice!the locals in the water are usually very frienly. just be nice to them! i think the dagerous are the younger rudebwoys

locals are fine, been there yesterday, and as far as you respect the surf's rules, no one will bother you. did wildcamping too and no problem. waves are good, water isnt as cold as it seems, and partywise, well hot chicks everywhere. laters

don't bother with it stay home and surf your waves. too many people already. not working everyday. lots of close outs. foreign cars will be broken in, even middle of winter. and what's up with these blurry shithouse photos anyway?

One of the best..... This wave is sooooo good!!! If you have the chance to make it out here, then come!!! It is a little difficult at times but as long as you take it easy at first and learn how the wave works...your set. I live in spain, but am from the states and I have seen quit a few good waves. However, this has to be one, if not the best that I have ever seen here in Europe...come and check it out

Hossegor I'm heading to hossegor on the 3rd of aug. Anyone know of any cheap accom? The camp ground is packed but I am wondering if I turn up with a tent they will find me a patch of grass? I know its not the best time to go but its my only choice. Cheers.Sam(from nz)

Greatest Im a Grommet from New Zealand and i have been living in london for 5 years. I have been going to hossegor for4 weeks every year or more. La Gravieve is awesome when its about 5 foot for decent surfers. Its a shallow beach break that has beautiful barrels. It gets as heavy as pipeline without the coral when its big. It is so consistant as well as the whole of hossegor. If you go there for 10 days and 9 days youll get decent surf. Whenever someone insults hossedor i get all pissed of at them. Even though i dont live there i feel like a local because i love the wave so much. Greates wave ive ever surfed. So damn fun.
