Hey you all!
I want to go south of France at finals of august. Is it recommendable and are there enough waves? I´m quite short on time and money so i don´t wanna go there and find myself with a f**king flat sea or poor baby waves. Please mail me about your experience or give me some other information.

I'am planning a surftrip to Le Porge this summer.
Does anywhan knows or there is a surfshop in Le Porge Ocean where you can rent boards?

had a good surf
was there 4 days ago for 3 weeks.had some nice surf.check morning sessions.2m and offshore but no really barrels.
locals are friendly no problem

Le Porge Ocean RULEZZZZZZZZZZ!
Ich fahre seid 10 Jahren jede Sommerferien nach Le Porge Ocean auf den Campingplatz La Grigne.Letztes Jahr waren die Wellen an manchen Tagen zwar nicht so hoch aber es gab da diesen besonderen Tag an dem die Wellen bis zu drei Meter hoch waren.Perfekt

I am sixteen now and since nine years I am surfing at le porgeevery holidays.On some days the waves are even three to four meters high.

Message from a locals !
The shop in le porge is named "Naukala", easy to find : at the enter of the "porge ocean" (you can see flags). The guy rents and sells boards and also makes wet suits. It is a good adress. Locals in le porge are nice and good and there's a very good spirit.
Avoid to surf the week end in "la centrale" it's ofenly crowded, just drive a few meters north or south and you'll find empty peaks. They're also secret place but chuuuuuut !

Ich liebe Le Porge Océan
Ich komme nun seit etwa 15 Jahren nach Le Porge und liebe es seit dem erstenmal. Die Wellen hier sind zwar nicht Perfect, aber einfach super. Es macht super Spaß. Außerdem ist der Camping Municipal La Grigne der eindeutig beste, bzw. schönste und einfach coolste Campingpatz der Welt. Ich freu mich schon auf dieses Jahr und alle coolen Leute, die wieder da sein werden. I love it! Bis dann in LE PORGE!!

where to sleep and eat ?
going surfingin le porge first week of august as waves are great over there. Saw a surf shop too last year and boards are available for rent
where can I stay ? any idea ? room would be better than campinf this time ... room at local ...

Does anyone know of a shop in the area where you can rent a board. I'll be heading down in mid July and will be accompanied by a friend of mine who hasn't a board. Any other info you could include on a place to camp, party, or where the waves will be would be greatly appreciated also. Thanks in advance
