it's all roots overthere
I've been there for two years in succesion:
the atmosphere was great both times; you have to visit the small villages at "le bassin" wich are only a short walk away from the beach
the waves were slightly different the second time because the spot has temporary sandbanks wich provide good shorebreak, each years a bit different though like I said
If your planning a surfcamp go to Surf Center
you can find them in the "rue des Goélands" next to the surf shop
