fun but rare
It's a sloppy funny wave, but good sessions are very, very rare. Needs very big swell to work (up to 3-4m).

You won't surf here !
Firstly, Pornichet shouldn't be in Brittany South on this website but in Vendee (the spot is between la Courance and la Govelle!).I used to go to La Baule-Pornichet and I cant' believe Pornichet is regarded as a surf spot ! It's a juste a wave for kids who want to have some fun. Nevertheless The bay of La Baule-Pornichet is a good place for wind-surfing, kite-surfing, sailing, fishing, swimming or sunbathing !In fact you won't find very good waves in Loire-Atlantique. Just go to Quiberon or to Vendee if you really want to surf.

Called in here early sept. Honestly can't recommend it as a spot for any type of serious surfing
