This spot mights work when the tide is too high at Port Blanc and Port Rhu. Regular wave, the good swell comes from W and SW. The NE wind is better for the northern beach and the SE wind for the southern beach. Attention: this beach can be closed on Wednesday, Tuesday and Friday (because of the Army training). This beach is very hard to surf when waves are higher than 1,3 m. Some localism but it's cool. No real beach live there, just surf. Lot's of swimmers in the water during summer, so be careful.
Atmosphere
Atmosphere is good, most locals are ok but lots don't understand what dropping in is. Wave right is in the hands of the locals.
General
Good spot, even works on smaller days. Easy paddle out, can be messy sometimes.

hoo hoo - find this spot, I implore you. Can't believe it's not more famous. Been popping in regularly over the last decade, Ok, so it doesn't always monster (due to the prevailing onshores most of the time) but f*ck, it's pits are well sick when it gets over 5ft. Kegged meself stupid in September with Guy, Benoit, Evvy, Sicko Palmer and two totally and utterly unknown not famous at all Rostbif trayers(Told you I wouldn't let on you guys!).Well worth the effort to find. Don't get put off when you hit the tiny village, you're on the right track. Stick with it and rip my friends.

A good site for summer holidays - Good smooth waves until 1m50, and after then beachbreak is tough to go through.Three waves, the best is the one in front of the Blockhauss. The scenerie from the water is great.Maelle agrees.

These are 2 different spots - Ste Barbe and les Crevettes are two different spots, both located in Plouharnel. Les Crevettes is situated between Penthièvre and La Guérite, Ste Barbe is at the north of la Guérite.
