Hi im coming to brittany for a week or so in late july/aug 07.from New Zealand. My 9 year old son will be with me. Are there campgrounds near decent sufr breaks? Im happy to explore but sometimes , with a child its nice to have a base to head for.

no it's not a joke ! It's forbiden to swim at "la côte sauvage" because it's too dangerous. Having a license is the only way to surf legally in Quiberon.
But there is no policeman in the water, so I surf there sometimes but I have no license...

Well... i'm not sure you posted this message in the right place (see the Forum), but, indeed, who needs a license to surf ?!
You must have one only if you are part of a surf club but then, the license is included in the club membership fee.

We are going to Penthievre for many years. Also we take the côte Sauvage. But we haven't got a licence to body boarding an long boarding. Can we get it ?
