looking for a board rental in las americas - Last year I was in Puerto de la Cruz, there were very good waves but I had no board and I didn't find a surf shop where I could have rent a board. This year I'm coming in Las Americas and I want to know where I can rent a surfboard.

locals - I surfed there in 1988 and a local pulled a knife on me after a surf. I just laughed at him but then 6 or 7 of his mates turned up and we had to make a quick getaway in the panda. Never been back there, wankers.

well good - having been here 9 times,and the other canary islands countless times,id reccomend tenerife any day.good waves,no pretentious surf dudes,amazing nightlife,if you stay in playa,walkable to the surf.excellent place to go.and dont be put off by local stories-you reep what you sow.be cool,and you"ll get no hassle.

no title - surfed spanish left a few weeks ago and got black spikey things stuck in my feet.they were very hard to get out and hurt like f**k.anyone know what they are....advise anyone thinking of going here to wear boots.
