I just wanna add that Sta Barbara is not exactly for all surfers, it depends on the day and tide, the waves are almost twice as strong as in the southern shore and there's a very strong current sometimes. But it's preety easy to know: if there's noone in the water, betta not risk it.oh and that 4th pic, that's Pico da Ganza! a bodyboard fave! great shot, congrats to whoever took it!

Just one thing...the name of this place isn't Areias but Areais or Areal de Santa Bárbara.
