La Boca Access |
| |
Head west out(about 45 mins to 1hr)of San Juan on main highway 22, turn off the highway at the exit for town of Barcoloneta-- road 684. Continue through town toward ocean, right when you get into first view of Ocean as the road curves to the left, the break in front is La Boca. You'll see a river mouth to your right and past that to the point is the break Machucca Gardens. |

| | Be very respectful of the locals as they are suspicious of strangers and tend to lean toward the aggressive side of you show any attitude... Enter the water to the left of the river mouth, you cant miss the break. Also try and park your car next to an open business establishment, better to have to walk a little and comeback to a car than no car, if you know what I mean.

Really fun to ride wave, very hollow, water very cloudy due to river mouth. Overall fun wave. Pretty consistent even when there is minimal swell it will still show something. |
