Locals - Bring your respect and humility. The locals from the island rip and charge. If you behave stupidly you can be sure you will get your ass kicked.

Lefts? - Maybe you can help me out. I stayed in RIncon last year and scored some beautiful rights, now I am returning and was wondering where I could find some decent lefts (near Rincon) - I did catch a few at pools last year - is that left consistent? Also I noticed the rasta in your tag - a friend of mine has a bunch of unreleased Bob Marley video footage and he will be doing a show/presentation in San Juan on the 26th - I don't have all of the info yet but if you are interested I'll send it to ya as I get it. Thanks for your help. (((CCCccc~~~ SandyP.S is thereanywhere (sanctioned or not) that I can safely get away with car camping?

surfing Q's - Im going to be moving to Guaynabo in march. How far is the closest break and is it accessible by public transportation? Also, how costly is public transportation?
By BR , 01-02-2004
Surf in Rio Grande - Hi Quepos, welcome back. The nearest break from the hotel is La Pared (about 10 minutes east in a car). This is in Luquillo. Any cab driver can take you and pick you up later. So don't leave your board. There you'll have La Pared (the wall) and La Selva (the jungle). Easy access sandy breaks.
