Rincon info... - OK SM - All depends on weather conditions (swell potency and winds). Right now we are getting the swells from the colds fronts that reach our area being the north side of the island the one that get the strongest hit. So in Rincon you have from north to south Pools, Sandy beach, Domes, Maria's, Tres Palmas an then flat beaches. When you get here you will decide which one fits you. Once you're in Rincon don't miss Aguadilla - Surfer beach, Wilderness, Presure Point, Crash Boat, and maybe Gas Chamber mmmmmmm.Once in Aguadilla check Jobos beach in Isabela. From Rincon to Aguadilla about 40 minutes depends on trafic. From Aguadilla to Isabela 15 Minutes. Jobos is the best for beginers. Have Fun!

rincon - Yeah, no fear and no worries- but what breaks in the rincon area are well-suited for my ability level (intermediate) and which ones are good for teaching beginners?

By BR , 03-03-2004

Stokus Max - Don't fear. Just come down with your boards and you'll find a nice beach to surf. You'll have the best waves of your life, promise.

rincon info - I'll be down in rincon next week. Im an intermediate surfer (2-3 years experience), but I've never surfed a reef break before. Also, none of my friends have ever surfed before. Are there good locations for my/their ability levels- like some semi-safe reefs/sweet longboard breaks or anything? Any info/locations would definitely be appreciated!
