Surf in Las Lajas Beach!!
Well if you wanna surf here the best time to do it is in the morning!! During the summer time is not so good the surf...but during the raining season is JUST GREAT!!! So if you are planing to come to surf here come in RAINING SEASON!!!! Also now there is a brand new resort very nice and with excellent foods!!! Las Lajas - Excellent Family Beach Spot
Las Lajas is definite;y not a surfing break. It is an excellent ocean beach with light grey extra fine sand. It is an excellent place for beginners and children to learn how to body surf and bodyboard. There are basically no strong side currents and no outgoing rips. You normally walk out into the surf 200 - 300 meters to waist deep water. Wait for one of the larger white water waves and jump onto the wave. Best to wait for a double-up white water wave fora more exciting ride. I have 6 top quality 45" bodyboard with bicep leashes and take many groups of tourists and investors here routinely. I live nearby in David, Panama and go surfing at Santa Catalina, Pavonnes and many other secret spots.
