Selling used board in Panama Hello I am in Panama City for the next week and I am selling a used surfboard and bag that is perfect to travel through Panama or Central America. The board is a 6'4'' Surftech Epoxy JC Peter Mal Model with Glass Flex fins. The bag is a great travel bag by Creatures of Leisure. It could fit another board in it as well. Everything can be yours for $300 or best offer. Just email me at mattcroppi@yahoo.com to set up a meeting.

Panama Surf Boards The best place to buy or rent surfboards in Panama is at Boa Surf Shop. Juan Jimenez is the owner. See www.boasurfboards.com

Santa Catalina or Bocas are best Santa Catalina is the most consistent and best quality surf in Panama, although it can be crowded at times. Bocas del Toro is going to be good starting in December thru July, but can be hit or miss depending on swells. Don't waste your time with the waves in the Panama Bay area near Coronado. The area near Pedasi, like Playa Venao, or Cambutal can also be good and uncrowded, but never as good as Santa Catalina.

From Peru I am from and I am going to Panama City soon. ¿How far are the good waves from Panama City? ¿Is it a day trip or a short drive? Paz y buenas olas

Morro Just got back from Morro Negrito and the Azuero peninsula a few days ago. I can safely say that the camp is good fun, depending on the group you're with. I surfed some awesome waves, really enjoyed the company of the guides and was lucky enough to be with a laid back bunch of guys that really helped make the camp. Ok so the food is a bit limited and the accomodation not quite the shangri la but what do you expect? You're there to surf and there's no shortage of great waves to be had. I'm going back for sure.

Morro Negrito Has anyone been to Morro Negrito recently? I am wondering if things are better there now.
