drive thru sth america?
Me and a mate are going to panama for a few months in may 2007, just wondering from those that have been to bluff wether it is the same beachy they surf in Drive-Thru sth america. any info will be greatly appreciated.

i surfed there in the new year 2005 (stand up) and it was a laugh. very heavy, close outs and 2 of my friends snapped their boards there in a few hours. sucky and fun at double overhead, but much bigger and is like wiamea shorey!! will be going back there this new year for sure!!!!

Why it pounds.
Free dove here last Nov (04) when we lost the prop on our boat. We were only 200 yards off the beach yet the propeller was located about 50 feet beneath us. Had to swim down and pick it off the bottom along with the nut that held it on. Pretty interesting. Its no wonder this place breaks like it does. Deep water energy slamming into shallow sand bars. I'll go back.

Surf Season
Is there any rideable surf around there from early May to June? Sounds very seasonal but thought a few sneaky swells might still push through then ...... keep chillin

im from teh east hampton high school surf team we are looking for a htoel taht can hold 10 to 15 ppl if front or close to a good break sence were paert of a school we cant do things ourselves we need soemone to pick us up at the airport bring us to the hotel and if its not by hte brake takes us there

Sponging
Been to boca in february (thankz for the info peter and sasha) 2004.
Bluff is simply the best bodyboarding spot i have ever surfed. Fucking heavy, rampy, spitting shorebreak. Warm water, and simply no one out. I've surfed it 15 days, all by myself.
Directions: the waves are near the end of the beach, so ask the cab to leave you near there. Or ask him to leave you at the beginning and walk 10-15 minutes in the sand. You will know when you reach the spot.
