This is a hollow fast wave that should only be tried by experienced surfers or spongers. The bottom is NASTY. Sea urchin heaven. The wave is fast reef. Watch several sets before ducking out.
Fun but FREAKY!
Mexico, and Nayarit/Jalisco in particular, has been one of my favourite destinations for years. None of that Socal Aggro shit here - lots of fun - lots of space and next to no attitude

We scored!! - Great wave when a southern hemi south is in the water. Fairly easy access, tough long paddle but well worth the effort........kinda like upper trestles, without the people

groovy little wave - I was riding this little hellion over christmas. There wasn't much swell when I was there but it's still good with a long board. It always seems to break good though, rarely ever closing out. I highly recommend staying at the Viva, it's great.
