| | You´ll find a very long beach with some rocks on both sides, with at least 3 or more breaks depending on the swell, rights and lefts. sometimes tends to close on the central part but if you wait for the right one you'll have a great ride. a little polluted some times and without crowds. you can park you car right infront of the beach, don´t forget to tip the guy who take care of it, five dollars is ok.
Check this place out when the swell is just too big for everywhere else, this place goes off with hurricane swells and is very protected from the wind due to a very high cliff next to the wave.

Mazatlán is a big city with everithing you need, lot's of acommodations of all prices, many restaurants, discos, night clubs. it's worth to take a couple of days to know it. you'll have a very good time. most of the people speaks at least a little bit of english but always try to say some words in sapanish like hola (hi) and gracias (thanks) that will help you to get a better service. |

General |
This is my favorite wave in mazatlan when it´s on. It works mostly with hurricane swells which are not that common, but when they do come they make this place super fun, great for high perfomance surfing.
Be cool to the locals and i guarantee it you´ll have a great time, and i´m not saying you have to kiss everyone´s ass, just let everyone get their share of waves, unless of course they suck. |
