The first hotel on the left is Edgars.....The safest place to camp or get a room. Edgar also does killer board repair.

Oringaly really cool vibe at Pascuales but now the region seems to be quite dangerous.
There's a couple local body boarders they have chips on there shoulders, but like anywhere in the world you travel, if you show respect, you'll get respect.
General
Pascuales is one of the most consistent spots around. Always seems to be at least sholder high, but can get really huge on south swells.... Pro's only when it get's big.

Septic Water- Montezuma's Revenge
Third trip to Pascuales... Tecoman's sewer was dumping almost straight into the lineup, and a brown foam with long stringy semi digested feces was everywhere. Everyone's eyes were stinging from the crap. Surfed 18 sessions in 8 days, scored pretty good shacks (although I have seen the bars way better about 9 years ago). Two days after getting home, I got super sick, and upon explaining to my doctor(who also surfs) the water quality, he dosed me up with some heavy Antibiotic that should fix my gut.... five days of razors in my stomach and liquido diarhhea... Be aware... the mexis don't care about wastewater treatment plants.
