| | When I was on a trip to Cozumel, we took a boat to the mainland to check out the Mayan ruins. At one of these massive ruins which lie on a cliff that looks out to the ocean, I noticed some offshore reefs break. Grabbed the boards and paddled out there and scored some 2-4 fun surf. Mostly rights, long long rides. Very mellow. I don't know anything else about it or how it reacts on a big swell. If I had to guess, when it’s big its probably just like any other offshore reef break.
