Nice ridable waves
Yes pal, the wave has very nice shape and size, but it last only couple days before a 'norte' but for sure Tampico is a nice wave when is on, welcome, we have couple surfshop, and locals are always cool people and very good surfers, one of the top Mexicos surfers commence here.

Tampico-HUGE
If at all possible, avoid passing the city of Tampico. Tampico is fairly good sized and can be quite dangerous to tourists. Make sure you travel with someone who is well familiar with Mexico.
