RE: Help with vacation plans Suz - Not be disrespectful, but I can't think of any surf spot that would welcome a mob of surfers like that. Sounds like you need a private island somewhere.

troncones - I just got back from there at the end of july it was a ton of fun really consistent. It didnt drop under head high the whole time i was there. If you go you have to surf the ranch its amazing surfed there every morning and the beach break in the afternoon. The beachbreak you can get your fair share of barrels at. If it gets big go just north of it and surf manzanillo bay its great when its big.

Mid-August? - I was thinking about goin down in mid August and I wondering if the surf is consistant this time of year. Thanks

- I surf there alot and have been chased out of the water by sharks a few times now. Usually they stay a few hundred yards away, but a few yards is too close. Sightings are common but I guess there has only been one attack that I've heard of.

Stay off the beaches in Guerrero, Mexico - DO NOT DRIVE ON ANY BEACH IN THE STATE OF GUERRERO! ALL BEACHES ARE PROTECTED BECAUSE SEA TURTLES NEST HERE YEAR ROUND! IT IS HIGHLY ILLEGAL AND IF YOU ARE CAUGHT YOU WILL NEVER SEE YOUR CAR AGAIN.
