Cerritos The color of the water is how you can tell how cold it is. Yes, it can get cold in May/ June. If you must have warm water. keep driving south to San Jose Del Cabo and join the hordes at Zips.

Cerritos Condo's Cerritos is such a beautiful place. I've had some of the best memories there over the past decade. Sleeping out under the stars, enjoying beautiful surf, sharing stories with my many friends who returned year after year. All of us enjoyed Cerritos for what it was. You will never know what it was. You weren't there! You saw us and decided to try and exploit and cash in on what we had. I've returned recently and met some pompus drunk owner who basically turned away the surfers that found that place. Hey, good luck. It ashame you probably can't dream any more, if you can, please, on your next endevour, sell your own not ours.

Atten: Olagrande You are spot on with your evaluation of the the circus known as Cerritos. You are spot off about water temps in May and June. You have never been there during that time or you would know that the water temp is not 80 but can drop into the low 60s. If you dont believe me, dont bring a wetsuit during that time of year.

NYE cerritos I arrived at cerritos with great hopes of good surf. The place is pretty and has two little taco stands to eat after a session. The spot is crowded with people ranging from true beginners to hardcore locals. They also run a surf school right on the beach and rent boards fairly cheap. There is absolutely no etiquette at all. Everyone drops in on each other without even so much as a look. I've never been a place were people disrespected each other more. There is one good take off spot right next to a group of rocks. Everyone fights for it, and everyone takes off at the same time. Its completely ridicules. Instead of sitting way outside an battling all the aggro idiots, i waited inside and caught the reform. Made for a super fast ride. Only the really really good locals could actually connect the wave from outside to in. All and all, i had a great time. Which is all that counts. I dont know about wearing a fullsuit in May or June, that's when the water heats up to 80. You can almost bareback year round.

Don't waste your time This place is now super crowded and there's a bad vibe. Don't waste your time here. Polluted with greedy surf entrepreneurs who are ruining it for everyone.
