Park up on dirt road and enter the arroyo at GPS location: 23° 9'23.39"N, 109°30'2.39"W.
This is a remote and beautiful beach with a secret world class break that will always be uncrowded.
However, unfortunately, a few of the neuvo riche, unfriendly, ugly americans who decided to plop their bony butts down there (for a few weeks a years), have choosen to bull-doze the arroyo every other week, (a futile attempt to restrict access) thereby ruining the traditonal freedom of the East Cape.
It is a fantastic spot in between Wrecks and 9 Palms (on certain days makes both look like childs play).
If you meet the Ugly Americans, please wish them luck selling their pseudo-elegant homes in the middle of the dessert during this fantastic housing market. And tell them they need not thank me for taking their beach public-their kindness and hospitality was ample payment. |
