Hi...I'm a Europhile Frenchman living in Iowa and want to learn to surf in Central America...maybe Mexico. What iz theez 'leash' you speak of? Do I attach it to my surfer-board? Where iz good beach to learn do you lovely Americans think? Maybe km64? Cerritos? San Pedrito? Can you help me? Also, should I wear a life-vest do you think as I am only learing? Thanks you.

i truly don't think it matters wether or not mexico is categorized under "central america" or "north america." its there, we all know it's there, the end.

Mexico
Mexico is considered North America and all else below it Central America until you hit Colombia, when it becomes South America.If you want to be more specific, Mexico is actually considered the United State's 52nd state, just after that 51st-state bitch, Canada.
