This is Los Cerritos Km 65 is the main road in. Threatening violence at a sandy beginner break proves somebody's a kook and would likely get them ejected by locals. Any experienced surfer would know where the better breaks nearby are.

Where iz good beach to learn do you lovely Americans think? Maybe km64? Cerritos? San Pedrito? Can you help me? Also, should I wear a life-vest do you think as I am only learing? Thanks you.

Mexico Mexico is considered North America and all else below it Central America until you hit Colombia, when it becomes South America. If you want to be more specific, Mexico is actually considered the United State's 52nd state, just after that 51st-state bitch, Canada.

To Philip the Fascist Do you think that europeans are stupid? In general they know more about the rest of the world than an average american does. This is not the american people's fault, but here in the US we live in a bubble. I also don't know why americans learning to surf in Mexico should be shot. What is wrong with playing the waves that God has given all of us to enjoy, even if you are just learning? It is really sad to see how there are so many closed minded angry people like you out there. Good waves to everyone!

Mexico is North America! God Damn it!! Only a stupid European would say Mexico is Central America. Did anyone ever go to school!?!By the way...the English and the French should be eating Bratwurst right now...retards@!People learing to surf in Mexico should be shot. And Gringos making half-breeds down there should be shot too.

Pto Escondido Mexico or Guatamala? Ok professor of geography. Check any search engine, type in "central america countries", see if Pto. Escondido or Mexico show. I'm a salty, old, Pt. Loma local who now "beats up" on the unsuspecting here in Mexico. All beginners need is a couple of quick lessons? As in how to push their board away when they get caught inside on a 2 ft. "set wave". Maybe I can teach them the proper knots to use when attaching their leash so their loose long board doesn't slam into innocent participants. Maybe a lesson in the benefits of peripheral vision so when their board(snuggly attached to a quality leash) goes over the falls on top of me while I'm in the pocket only to here the obligitory "sorry man, I didn't see you". You see, I'm not interested in subsidizing your learning curve and I'm not quite convinced that a few "quick lessons" are going to be the blanket cure all. I'm not a linquistics expert so forgive me if I ask what "bollocking", "oi", "saty", means. How much do you really know about Pt. Loma, PV or Km65?

mexico is in central america. oi. look at a map. mexico spans the california border to guatemala. pto escondido is central america. who cares how long you have been surfing or where. old crusty point loma surfers love to moan and beat up people like pv locals. learners are everywhere and in every facet of life. tolerance and a few quick lessons are all they need. if they hit you with a board, saty away from them and give them a good bollocking.

Mexico is in North America, not Centra this spot has somehow become a mecca for the "I want to learn how to surf, where can I buy a leash". That's just fine when the surf is mediocre which is about 90% of the time. Unfortunately, surf videos don't teach the basics of board control, wave awareness, and etiquite. For better or worse, I learned to surf at Sunset Cliffs back in the days when leashes were unacceptable. I learned technique and became a better swimmer in the process. My how times have changed.
