are those sizes correct. - I was thinking the same thing as the guy who wrote on January 7. If the dimensions,(size of wave, size of surfboard etc) are true that pelican has to be the size of a small plane!!!!! I don't think the bird is that much in the foreground
- mm to the guy who submitted photo 2 that says estimated wave height 25 ft this is me and an 8 ft surbboard, then the bird flying overhead must be about 10 feet big.
By warning of todos santos, do not act cool unless you are wil;ling to surf it
leaving a similar comment - am 44 years old now, and i have had more than 4 knee surgeries after i surfed todos santos on a big day. There was three people out, a jetski, two boats and a helicpoter. It was around 30 feet. I had a lot of experience, and i paddled into a 20 foot beast that started to throw from takeoff. I bottom turned too late and got lipped on the head. I was pummelled along the tops of the submerged mountain range, shattering my knee cap. I came up to find the bottom half of my leg hanging from the top half. My knee was visible, and snapped into many pieces. I have been on crutches ever since. So dont joke about this place unless you have the balls to surf it. the guys who surf it big know they surf it and dont have to claim it, and i warn you now.
to The main man that can - take it easy hoss, you dont know me. I've only been to baja to party mostly, now i wanna surf big waves. Todos santos is a lot closer then mav's, i wanna know more about todos. I wanna know what is a good bouy size to go out for like 2x-3x over head, i dont wanna get out there for the 1st time and have it pitching 25-30ft and be out gunned. If you wanna be a dick, be a dick, or if you wanna help me out help me out. -Dave
Todos gets bigger than most can handle - Todos sits upwards of a deep Ocean trench that runs out past Japan. It has the capability to harness the biggest swell on Earth and produce a wave like no other. No sick thermodynamics - just brawn and pure power. There are only a few that can ride this when it gets really, reeeeally big.

ur having a giraffe!! - Dave mate ur either havin a joke, or are a complete kook!!!!! - did you actually look at any of the pics or read the write up? I'd stay in 2 foot slop if I were you!!
thusty for big surf - my bro and i wanted to surf the todos santos sooooo bad, the first nitne in baja we camped in la fonda, went to encenada to party, got ran off the road by a semi around bajamar at 3 in the morning, and flipped our truck 3 and a half times, piss drunk walked away and got rescued by a cabby, mins before an army of feds showed up at the crash... Totally lame, but we had our boards, food, and beer. Never made it to todos santos, but i need to get threre. After paddleing out on dec. 21 last year, i had a taste for huge surf... and i need more, Do you think this spot is a good way to ease into big waves???
PRIVELAGE - i am so stoked to maybe have a chance to ride a wave as bold and fast as riding the slopes of Mt Taranaki Aotearoa.........On the right day.. As fast as you want to go,as big as you can go....stoked...respect!
