mextripper - Mushy wave, too many loggers, beach breaks between Quatro and ships can be fun, camp with the crowds, beware of locals in isolated spots. very windy, lots of garbage, stinky outhouses.
Phone number didn't work. - I was going to go this weekend. mucha gente, eh? How's the water temp? Is there a phone number there? I tried the one posted, pero no sirve. I haven't been there for 15 years, so I thought I'd check it out. Any surf close by?Brian

g'day - way too crowded nowadays...25 poeple out on weeknds, even if its small...no vengan
I scored there - I scored there. It was head high and perfect for three days, perfect dry barrels on the inside for everyone. Outside was about eight foot and mushy. I liked it, but that was 20 years ago when people had respect for the land.
4 casas hostel - the hostel there is getting better all the time, they have added private rooms and a restaurant. $15 a night. el telefono es (01152)6161650010. camping is the same as always, $5 a night.
Trick or Treat !!!! - You gotta hit this place at the right time only !!If you do it's alot of fun...Overhead + thats the ticket.Nothin but good times for me.
definitely hit this spot at double overhead - this right breaking wave points south so hit during south swells "summer time wave" very cold and remember "chicks don't dig camping no matter what they say"
i agree - Went to this spot was expecting some good surf. We hit it on a big big NW. It was breaking like 1 mile out from the cliff. San jose however was firing. Only reason i left there is due to the fact i have never expolored baja. I shouldnt be posting this. San jose is pretty hard to find. OUt in the middle of no where. Dont go. Stay at home. Leave this spot for myself and my other mexican friends.
What's the big deal? - Lousy surf! Windy, cold even in summer! The hostile (they claim) sucks.
Plan your swell... - Wait for the swell forecast to show 2x overhead. Comparing this spot to Punta San Jose, I'd have to side with San Jose. At least you have 3-5 spots to surf... Quatros has 1 right... not even a left! doh!
