Update K38 - Hmmmm. Still the same hot-dog wave it always was. It's not polluted. At a higher tide the south swells wrap all the way into the bay and loose very little size and power. Access is very difficult, however leaving is especially hard when the wind is blowing and the tide is high and you have to paddle out of there with tired arms. If you want be the King, those 2 bedroom condos overlooking the point by the Jacuzzi and Pool rent for $180 a night.

k-38 RULES!!! - k-38 is great! That's why I quit surfin it 10 yrs ago. The bottom changed, it no longer wraps all the way into the bay and it's crowded and polluted. It is easy access though, so all you wanna be Mex adventurists get your drunk on and paddle out. I'll laugh as I drive by headed to lesser Known Baja barrells.

What's up Webmaster? - Why are all my posts being edited out? Have I posted something offensive? Here is another question, do you even surf? I get the impression that the people running this website don't even surf. I have seen tons of photos claiming to be a particular spot, and are not even close. Not that you would know what every spot would look like, but do some research before submitting every single photo. Also, what’s the big deal about seeing a gay cat make out with a Dutchman?

Benny`s - K-38 has it`s up and downs when i used to go down thier it was very secluded now they got hotels poping up everywhere. i stay at this little camp site called bennys. his little camp site is the greates you can see the surf from his cliffs you can camp right by the cliff and climb down and paddle out 10 bucks to camp the night Calafia isnt to far from this place. been down thier off and on and found great surf and bad surf like any other spot around the world. i guess what im trying to say is when you go down south you are thier to relax drink cervesas and eat lobster and if the surf is great thats the Bonus.the great thing about driving down the coast of Baja is you get to see all the surf spots and you can pic your favorite spot. little hint if you are parking your vehicle in a secluded spot make sure other people are around or you go in a group the police down thier live off the American tourist its best to go with friends. but if you do go in pairs find a little camp site and pay the guy 10 bucks to park at his litte camp site it will be cheaper in the long run and more pleasent down south also the federal goverment have check points with soilders looking for that hippie lettuce so becarefull.

Viva Mexico!! - just got back from K38/K39 over Columbus Day. Was perfect on Monday, Tues, and Weds. Top it off, only me and 2 locals in the line up... No wind, cool vibe, sunshine, and head high+ on the sets... Nuff' said?? Just give props to the locales in the line up, and you be all right.... we're visitors afterall...... Mahalo, y Pura Vida!!!!

Back to the Topic! - Razors is sick. Anything overhead starts getting kinda scarey, but the drop is well worth it. Definately only surf it on Mid-High tide, even then the water can only be around 4 ft deep or so. Um, yah, urcins are the reason you buy booties. The water down in Mehico is always colder, by 10-15 degrees then SD/LA/OC. I have never figured out why, but hey, the beer's cheaper and the surf's better, I'll take that anyday.
