LIKE OXNARD YET TIT BETTER. - THIS SPOT IS SICK ONE OF THE BEST IN MEX I CAN'T BELIVE IT ONLY GETS TWO STARS I HAVE SURFED IT EVERY TIME I GO TO MEX AND i WOULD GIVE IT AT LEAST 4 STARS BUT WHO EVER GIVES THE STARS MUST NOT LIKE TO GET TUBED.

Pissed off locals and flat tires - Went down for a day trip this last south swell. Surf was fun, but the crowd was crazy. I think Black's would of been less crowded. We ended up getting harrassed by some so called local boys and came back to find a flat tire. We werent the only ones hit. About 10 cars were targeted. We also found out that theres a new sewage dump pipe just to the south. Its definately stinky. I think I will just surf Rosarito indtead. Its just as good and less crowd. good luck!

- I was there a couple months ago. Beach and water was clean. By the way tip the guard. He is hot.

crap creek - the polution comes from just north of San Antonio, not tijuana river. it is much morse than I.B.

- Just pay the secrity guard 3-5 bucks. It gives you a little car safety and helps him out, you think he is rollin in coin. What is 3-5 to you when you gas up your car, drive through toll roads, buy beer and tacos? Quit leaving your trash and try picking some up on the way out. Smile and greet the residents politely, in Spanish.
The water here is dirty and the wave is heavy when it is good and there are wicked currents so you better be able to swim good when your leash or board snaps. As the saying goes "Live Aloha"

new rash of car thefts and breakins - Ive lived here for almost 2 yrs and since the gate has been taken away people have been parking down at the bottom. The new construction guys tip people off and are stealing cars left and right. Do yourself a favor and park where you always did and pay the guard a couple of bucks. It isnt the local residents stealing or the guards. Its the laborers and crime has skyrocketed since playa blanca development. There was an armed robbery a week ago. There are bathrooms at the bar so stop taking shits by the stairs!

epic BM - January 30 and 31st of 1990, if memory serves me, the entire west coast was FIRING. I went from my home in S.B. drove to baja malibu at night, slept in a trailer on the beach, woke up hungover and checked the surf. I had never been her and I believe my first words that morning were "Oh my God". Woke my buddies to share the sight of 12ft+ spitting barrels. Grabbed a sponge (my surfing skills would not allow me take full anvantage) and got shacked and pummelled. Epic. Ah such fond memories
