fundamental changes r necessary. - there are a lot of people in the world doing what they hate for a living, its no wonder many of them are angry and hence treat the environment and other people harshly. throw out this unfair economic system. all land should be publically owned. if people shared esp the rich greedy ones people would b a lot happier. if people were doing what they love for a living they would treat people with a joyous attitude rather than hate/sullen demenors. we need big changes!!! by the by this wave is epic!!!

thank you - I want to thank the person who wrote about keeping Salsipuedes clean. My husband and I have a place down there and are there every weekend to surf and enjoy. Every weekend we spend sometime cleaning the beach. It is really sad to see the way some people treat other peoples property. This last weekend, we spent it painting the walls. As some idiot had nothing better to do then writing words they couldn't spell, and trashing a landmark. If more people respected the place and the owners, and pitched in and cleaned up after themselves, they might find that it feels really good to be respectable human beings. Everyone should realize that Salsipuedes is a gold mine for the surfers and campers. And if they don't take care of it, it might not be there for long.

pigs too, surf and camp - ANYONE !! ANYONE going to Baja to surf,, bro', clean up your shit. I've seen alot of guys at Salsipuedes, just made a mess of it. Hey really, the place isn't such a big deal, knowing that within 100 miles, there are so many places better. Unfortunately, to make things worse, punks leave their trash. Please, don't be a smart ass punk while in Baja. We all should leave the place better than we found it. Hell, you think the locals are going to clean it up ?? I've been going to the tip and back since 70. With my Dad before that. Let's not screw this up or wear out the welcome and cheap stays. It's changing fast enough now. Take your old but decent stuff down there and help out the families. Just south of Gaviotas, you know them, they'll never accept a dollar from you, if you just help out a bit. Every time I go by there, they're sportin all my old duds, using my old tools, hugging me, and loading me up with bugs and beers. Don't F--k up now. Let's kep it real down there.

shaper - i use to surf here in the late 70's early 80's , and most of the time we would end up at hussongs, picked up a couple of boards, shaped by this guy named 'chega', the guy had a shop right next door to hussongs , was wondering if he's still there. thanks

no title - Photo 1 is not Salsipuedes. It is a certain "playa" somemiles south. The wave here is fickle & usually closes out. Getting there is a different story, the white rocks may look good but the road sucks. Whoever posted the photo is either purposly misleading people or simply did not know were they were which could easily have happend given the area.

YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!! - TO THOSE THAT TRY TO SNEAK OUT OF THE CAMP GROUNDS THAT DON'T PAY...DO YOU REALIZE THAT ALISHA AND FERNANDO MAKE THEIR MONEY ON THE LOUSY $5 THAT THEY GET FOR YOU TO GO THERE AND SURF THE BEST WAVES...YOU SHOULD BE ASHAME OF YOURSELF FOR BEING SO CHEAP THAT ALISHA HAS TO LEAVE HER SUPPER, JUMP IN HER CAR AND GO CHASE AFTER YOU TO PAY...KEEP THIS UP AND THERE WON'T BE A PLACE FOR YOU TO GO...YOU KNOW THE SURF LAST WEEKEND WAS UNREAL AND YOU BY FAR GOT YOUR MONEY'S WORTH...SO QUIT BEING CHEAP AND DO THE RIGHT THING AND STOP AND PAY FOR YOUR STAY.I SAT AT HER TABLE AND WATCH THREE CARS TAKE OFF AND NOT PAY...ONE EVEN TURNED THEIR LIGHTS OFF SO NO ONE WOULD SEE THEM....I HOPE YOU ARE PROUD OF YOURSELF...CAUSE YOU AREN'T WORTH MUCH IN MY BOOKS.

not just kooks go to Salsipuedes - I look forward to coming home from my weekend at salsipuedes to read what someone else has to say about their weekend stay. My husband and I clean the beach every weekend. and are the ones that who end up cleaning those m80's up...What really makes me mad is when I spend the day keeping the beach clean for everyone to use and I look up and those same punk kids are up on top dropping their beer cans down on the beach as they look down on me..But we continue to try and help Alisha keep the place clean so everyone can enjoy the weekend and surf..What I have come to realize is that not everyone has the brains to respect other people, or their wishes...just because they are in mex is no reason to disrespect other people and the property, but then some people are short on educate. So my husband and I continue to help and try and keep the place clean and turn the other cheek, knowing that as least we are doing the right thing. So don't be discouraged. continue to come and surf some of the fantastic waves...(but leave the kooks behind)

mex is not your personal toilet - anybody who goes down to mex thinking it is their own personal pissing ground has got the wrong idea. i was at salsipuedes last weekend and there was a bunch of 20 year olds who should have been whooping it up at Senor Frogs instead of ruining a beautiful spot. they were lighting M80s till 6:00 in the morning and when we asked them politely to stop, they told us to f*^# off and that they can do whatever they want to do in Mex. i don't mind sharing the waves. but i am not about to share the spot with a bunch of red necks kooks. as a community of surfers, we need to make sure people know that that crap does not go on at salsipuedes. we were the only ones who said something to them even though everyone in the water that day was pissed...

caught a shark off salsipuedes - Stumbling down from San Diego we made our way to the fishing grounds off Salsipuedes. My uncle always says it's better down here, but I didn't believe it 'till I saw it.Black sea bass(100lbs)sent back, and our final acquisition--a baby white shark. Only 10 feet.Swam in to Salisipuedes and caught a nasty blown out session.Locals suck anywhere. Grow up and get off the football team.
