Say Goodbye to Salsipuedes - The San Diego-based London Group has teamed up with developer Grupo Lagza on a project in Salsipuedes that will include 2,700 condos, single-family homes and lots, hotels and resorts and retail services.“This is the best piece of property in northern Baja,” said Moeder. “It reminds you of La Jolla before it was developed. It’s going to raise the bar for product types down there.”Groundbreaking is expected in the spring, with build-out extending for about 10 years, said Antonio Zazueto, Grupo Lagza’s director of sales and marketing

We're hard core - Cuz we're from Norcal. By the way "Salsipuedes" means PEE if you can (not leave if you can). Es que importante para aqua fria. Also we thought all those "so cal kooks" were really nice. Maybe we just met the wrong people, maybe were just a bunch of freakin retards. Maybe both.

visit while you can - The party that wrote about his boat motor is just one of us that have lost something at Sal because of Some people that don't respect others property. We live in the gated part of Sal. , not down by the camping area. we pay rent every month to live there. WE don't mind that you want to surf the point in winter swell...we just want some respect for our property. there are a few that don't seem to care...what would they feel if someone went in their back yard and stole from them.anyway. my husband and I enjoy the surf like the rest of you and now it is time to say goodbye.Salsipuedes has been sold and very soon there will be no more surfing or being able to camp, as stage one is main Salsipuedes, so enjoy while you can....we all have some great memories. They plan to be moving Sal down the road...that has a great sand beach. with a decent beach swell..for my husband and me...time to move on...we are going to miss all the neat friends that we have made while living in good ole Salsipuedes..

IKO the blanket man - Please save us the blanket statements about ALL AMERICANS.....we are not all the same!!! Nothing like fucking travelling anywhere in the world now and bumping into assholes like you who hate on people for no other justifiable reason than where their from. I'll be in Salsi this weekend and plan on being a perfectly respectful surfer and camper....probably pick up some of the trash you left behind on the way out.

God fORGIVE aMERICA - Yeah,You American surfers are a bunch of freaks.Surfing was once a sport of Kings and integrity, respect and dignity, now everywhere you guys travel you take what can be such an amazing buzz to the dogs! You paddle past someone, you let them go,and then its your turn. You drop in(and smile and laugh???)you dont deserve the privilege of surfing.Look what you done you sad cats.Wake up or stay in the States(that doesnt go for Hawaii either...Hawaii is not yours ,you stole it from the Polynesians).Come try play your games in Aotearoa New Zealand and see how far you get, maybe we pull that stink head out from your bumhole.

Fernando is always out of town - Alicia and him need the cash of visiting surfers paying camping fees, buying tacos and t shirts. They won't close the gate. Some of the people who live at Salsi make me sick. Some are pretty damn cool though. All in all, we should be worried about the potential purchase by Sempra Energy who are in final stages of purchasing the property for expansion of the LNG facility. Rumor has it the deal will be closed by June 2006. I can't believe WildCoast and Surfrider hasn't done anything to save Salsi. Oh well, now I don't have to worry about being dragged over the rocks on the point.

quite yer cryin - Dont be such a friggin crybaby - just because you own a pad at Salsis dont mean you own the wave, and even if Jose puts a lock on the gate, free-spirited surfers will always find another way in... perhaps via boat thanks to your outboard motor which you so stupidly left outside in northern mexico you freakin dumb ass.

Broken hearted in Salsipuedes - As one of the residents at Rancho Salsipuedes, I was crushed to see the damage caused by the surf crowd this past winter. The last straw was my missing outboard motor! CRAP! What's wrong with this picture? ... the surf crowd is slowly destroying this place, and their right to ride it's breaks. Now Fernando is taking action to clamp down on the visitors. If he decides to lock the gate - I'm behind him. The lack of respect over time by some is now hurting others... it's your loss. Not mine.
