I studied and surfed in El Salvador and never got hassled and had a great time, studied Spanish with the El Salvador Spanish Schools, stayed with a Salvadoran family in a homestay, and had a great time, climbed three volcanoes, surfed every day for three months in La Libertad, and met great people. Great accessible surf all along the south coast of El Salvador, miles of empty beach break, sick right points, rivermouths, and constant Pacific swell...

Close out??? No way - Stayed at a local house at playa la paz for four weeks and I surfed la paz and punta roca( the outside point)every day two or three times. And I never saw a clouse out wave. The point was working everyday perfect. Some days it was possible to surf the wave from punta roca to playa la paz. Catched there some longest waves of my life.

La Paz - Haha, La paz is the worst wave that closes out on almost every wave. It is only a 5 minute walk from one of the best point breaks in the world. I thought these ratings were legitimate til i saw this. haha never surf here.
