world class? i think not. a small sloppy reef whatever

just paddle it
I've heard of some crazy people actually acending the cliff but I would not recomend it because you don't even want to get close to the cliffs. There is this bad current that will smash you onto those rocks.

United DR Locals
The times of free waves & good vibes are over in the DR, localism is now in full effect!!!, visitors who dont respect the rules (drop ins & trying to get a wave over a local) will be imediately expeled from the water, if you try and talk shit and act like you own the place we will beat you down, 100% guaranteed. A piece of advice: RESPECT THE LOCALS AT ALL SPOTS IN THE DR!!!

I'm planing a trip there soon and don't feel like getting a boat or taking the long ass paddle...isn't there a way to get to the break from that cliff? Or is it to steep to ascend? Some body please help me out.

Good Longboard wave under head high
Caught it fun in the waist to chest range, kinda backed off but ultra glassy with slack wind. Water was so clear it felt like I was flying over the reef as you couldn't really tell where the water started (right combo of sun angle I guess). A unique experience. Paddle was cake but I imagine in overhead conditions it's be a bit tougher as the reef is shallow (about 3-4 feet deep). Super fun and playful in the size I got it though. Was wishing I had my LB with me for some noserides, etc.

Several other breaks in area looked really fun access was not apparent. Seek and ye shall find.

Best spot in the DR
This spot is probably the best on the whole island I belive the only reason that it does'nt have so many stars is because the paddle out is pretty long..but hey just get ya self in shape and be prepared to have the best surf session of you're life here! I mean you can actually stand in the barrels with you're hand raised in the air hehe. This wave is my absolute fav. and the big difference with this break compared to the other spots is that it almost always has offshore wind. Making it have better conditions of course. Have fun!
