There is an unmention hazard... LOCALS
To go to this beach you have to pass by through a small roughly-settled neighborhood plagued with poverty and vandals. If you go with a considerable group of people and by vehicle your possessions won`t be stolen and you won`t have to worry about hostile youngsters. Unfortunately - me and my two friends had to experience it.

Not consistent
It can be a good spot when its on, but the sand bar changes to often and you get lots of closeouts. Great for spongers. Bring an extra board, try not to open your mouth cause its very polluted

EL ¨CHINCH¨
This is the Puerto Escondido of the Caribbean!!!! Regular swells 1-4 feet, very consistent, allows upo to 6-8 feet on hurricane season. It is in the City of Santo Domingo, sand bottom. Excellent tubes...rmorales@id.com.do
