Is it even safe to surf in Cuba? I remember an article in Surfer Magazine about some pros who went on a trip there and feared for their lives the whole time. They said something about the military offering to "guard" their gear while they went for a surf. Apparently, the surfers or writers saw a sniper setting up behind a hill with a gun aiming towards the line up. The surfers decided to skip out on the surf (thankfully). Anyone remember this story I am talking about?
