Avellanas break disolved - The avellanas beach break has disovled and the road rendered impassable. Not even worth the drive at all! Weird natural phenomina has wiped out the break. From Tamarindo, we just use Langosta or Grande now.

Costa Rica is NOT Over Rated - There has been a terrible rumor going around thatCosta Rica is over rated. I suppose this is primarily due to its increase in popularity, eversince Endless Summer 2. I say give it some time, just like Hawaii. Hawaii was over rated...now look at it. Next, indo will be over rated...andmost of us won't even get the chance to see it before people start labelinf it. You only liveonce, have fun, and ignore the rumors! No Worries!

learn to surf in costa rica - costa rica is the perfect place to learn surfing. Easy beach breaks that are empty all year round. Perfect waves, warm water, no sharks. the best way to start without beeing frustrated by unfriendly locals who don't give you a chance to catch a wave.
