Vacation Plans - I'll be waitin for you here when you get back to hear all your complaints like every other gringo that goes south of the border.

My Vacation Plans - I know I will be heading south to Costa Rica this summer. I have always wanted to visit Central America. The wave looks primo. Can't wait. BTW, I also deal in guns and nose candy, so roll out the red carpet, dudes. Cowabunga.

CR Rocks - Costa Rica Rocks! It is fun. The locals are sweethearts and will do anything to make your visit happier and fun. There is no dope in Costa Rica. It's a myth. The foamie mouth dudes have a harmless illness. All that powdery stuff is flour from cooking our CR's wonderful cuisine. I love Costa Rica and will promote it every chance I get, because it is fun. And safe.

Costa Rica bias? - This is not a Costa Rica site. The negative comments have been deleted because they are racist, stupid, and ignorant. So please stop it with the comments about Costa...enough already!

pura vida bias - Notice that all the posts featuring negative (true)comments about hostile locals have been deleted. Interesting. Could this have anything to do with the advertising $$. Wave was perfect at Redondo. Stay north of Cali border and save your money.

The bigest it gets.... - It only gets big enough for guns in the Caribean.

Surf in August - I suggest you bring something in the range of 6'3-6'6, that way you can surf all kinds of waves...if it gets big, the 6'6" will hold you. I've surfed here all my life and I have a 6'2 and a 6'6. I haven't had any problems with those sizes. When it gets small I bust out my 9'0 classic longboard! Where are you going?

- Im going to Costa in August for 7 days. How big is it at that time of the year and what size boards should I bring? If I brought a 7 ft gun would I get to use it if there is a swell or is that to big of a board.
Thanks
