No More - The funny thing is that the coolest tourists are pro surfers, at least the real ones. I've met many of them and they are super nice. They come to Costa Rica with a great attitude, smiling, and willing to mingle with local people. Most importantly, even though they shred like hell...they RESPECT!

No More - I agree...drop the attitude and just surf, have fun, and enjoy the scenery. I couldn't believe it when the other day some guy from California was hassling me for a wave. In my country? In my break? Please! I don't go to Cali and demand waves, I adapt, make friends with locals, and just chill. You americans are cool so just come here and peace out, don't be hating!

No more - Costa Rica is played out! Too many people everywhere I try to surf. And they all think they are pro surfers when none of them get paid to surf. Enjoy your vacations, don't bring that agro-pro surfer attitude here,relax and just surf no more hassling when someone has the peak dammit

In Costa Rica Alone - Hey, I'm planning to go to CR for 3 weeks. My first stop is Hermosa, and I may stay there from July 27-August 13, or therabouts. Is there anyone else out there who will be alone in CR at this time? I would love to find someone else to split room and car costs. Any other advice is much appreciated...

Flight over charge on Surf Board. - Never ever fly Continental airlines they are the biggest thives, the flight price is cheap but any little extra thing will cost you too much money.
They charged me 180$ per direction, they are thives.

Complaints? - No complaintos dude. I love those foamie mouthers. Any country that contributes to the drug trade here in the States has my respect and appreciation. I like the wave down there and the women. Might even buy a vacation hubble there.
