weather
will be traveling to costa rica in september. i wonder if anyone could tell me how the weather is like then. it is rainy seson but will it rain all day or typical tropical rain. like rain for periods. anyone?

Anyone have any advice on cheap places to stay at hermosa or in costa period...im talking super cheap. ill be there in july aug...not to sound like a KOOK but any advice would be really rad. Email me.

Board renting
Does anyone know if we can easily rent boards/ bodyboards in Playa Hermosa?

There is no longer a "rogue" croc at the Gully. MINAE removed it via a bullet to the head. We surf at this spot every day and nobody has been bothered since. The kid that got attacked is making a good recovery from what I hear. They did not take his leg off..... he has had multiple surgeries and is expected to make a very good recovery.

Caution in the water
Hi guys, been down here for a while in Costa Rica.. There seems to be a problem with a rogue crocodile at Playa Hermosa (down towards the tree area) A guy got bit a few weeks ago pretty bad - i heard that they had to take off his leg at the hospital.. Just letting you know so do a little research before you head there
