Additional Information
A fast hollow break that works best on mid incoming. Powerful. Not a spot for beginners. Once over HH+ advanced only. Very strong currents. A lot of rips. If you see a few guys out, don't paddle right onto the peak with your bros..... find another peak.... there is over 5 miles along Hermosa that breaks the same.

Atmosphere
Please don't leave anything in your car.... especially if it is a rental. If you turn your back for a minute your stuff will be GONE. This applies to anywhere in Costa and especially remote areas like S Playa Hermosa... Tree, Corners, Tulin.

General
A great spot. A small river flows in here and keeps some good sand built up. Watch for Crocs. This is where the attack happened in September 2008.

Not Ultra Crowded - The information that claims this spot is ulta-crowded on the weekends is not true. There are waves all over the area. The crowd is easily spread out. In my opinion this whole area of Playa Hermosa is the best beach breaks in the world. The waves 80% of the year are 4-5 feet or bigger. The water is warm. There is generally multiple swells so the waves are peaky and big. I have had days out here where I have been going for double digit untouched in and outs. Have fun be respectful to others and represent your where ever you are from well.
