We went to Osti after a day or two in Guiones. Was along stronger in Osti than Guiones. Fun wave, good rides. We got there around 8am and by 11 the wind was all over it. Worth the check.
Make sure you have a 4X4, you will cross a creek or two and a river coming from Guiones. Depends on the rainy season, but we didnt get any deeper than a foot or so above the doors on the raised F250.

Respect the Turtle Zone
The turtles deserve their beach more than surfers need the waves. Dont be a problem.

Ostional: sharks
The Rock at Ostional has a great right over the reef, but watch out for sharks and do not go out when the turtles eggs are due to hatch.
