Paradise lost
Not much pura vida left here. Developers are like the shark whos waiting for the victim to die from its first initial bite...... just like the rest of the coastline of Costa Rica!!!

yellowblack
Hard to find, went with locals, got it early as we camped there with a bon fire and it was awesome. Tubes, open face, lips, long rides, everything you want lefts rights, rocks, saw sharks and felt as though they were my buddies, no worries with sharks. Any type of ride you want, just pick from what there is in that bay and look around. Dreamy blue clear water although the sand is semi black. Hard to find. I hope you dont cuz its pretty much you and your friends.
Scuba Diving in Guanacaste- Pacific Coast
I went scuba diving in guanacaste last year and I saw three sharks. They were small reef sharks. They didn't touch anybody. My scuba instructor told me that there are practically no shark attacks there. The environment is very peaceful, for some reason sharks have absolutely no intention to attack you.
